Recent Study in BMJ claims “no significant benefits of increasing the consumption of vegetables, fruit, or fruit and vegetables combined” to reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes

A meta analysis has recently been published in the BMJ looking at the association between food and risk of type 2 diabetes. This study pooled the results of six other studies, investigating 225,000 individuals over 13 years.
